Custom Inflatable Tube Columns for a German Trade Fair Booth

A German industrial equipment manufacturer needed distinctive visual elements to define their booth perimeter at a major Messe trade fair, wanting something more visually engaging than standard pop-up banner stands while remaining easy to transport and set up within typical exhibition hall constraints.

The exhibitor requested four matching tube columns with their company branding wrapped around the full surface of each. Given the modular nature of tube column design, the engineering process focused primarily on confirming height and diameter proportions suited to defining a booth perimeter without obstructing visitor sightlines into the booth itself — a specific concern the exhibitor raised regarding their booth's layout.

Each column was constructed from 600D Oxford fabric for the lightweight portability valued by trade fair exhibitors who transport their booth elements between multiple shows annually. All four units were produced to identical structural specifications with only the printed graphics varying slightly between corner and side-positioned columns based on the booth's layout plan.

The columns shipped via DDP air freight to Frankfurt with sufficient lead time for the exhibitor's booth construction team to incorporate them into their overall stand build schedule. Setup of all four columns was completed in under 15 minutes as part of the broader booth assembly process.
